Seoul

wind_seoul annual.jpg

In the graph of annual average wind speed of Seoul, Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.11, meaning a weak positive linear relationship. In other words, we can see that wind speed of Seoul is weakly increasing over the years. The slope of the trend line of the annual average wind speed graph in Seoul was 0.0113, meaning that annual average wind speed is weakly increasing.

In the graph of annual average PM10 of Seoul, Pearson correlation coefficient was -0.89, meaning a strong negative linear relationship. In other words, we can see that PM10 concentration of Seoul is strongly decreasing over the years.

The month with the largest slope is August, which is 0.0302 and the month with the smallest slope is January which is -0.0105. In the graph the slope of the tread line was negative in January, February, March and April, and the rest of the year was showing positive tread line meaning increasing wind speed. And the coefficient of determination(R^2) in April was 0.0005, which is very small  compared to other months. It means that the average wind speed was fluctuating in April.

PM10 concentration in Seoul is decreasing in every month average graph. Especially the month with the largest slope ils  April by -2.1317 and the month with the smallest slope is January by -0.776. We can tell that the average fine dust concentration decreased most in April and least in January.
